Marsfolket - Marsfolket

Facts Marsfolket formed a kind of Swedish supergroup with six of the more vital musicians who were picked from six different bands: Claes af Geijerstam (Ola & The Janglers), Björn Skifs (Slam Creepers), Janne Schaffer (Sleepstones), Björn Linder (Blond/Palmes), Bosse Häggström (Made in Sweden) and Ola Brunkert (Sciences Beverage). The formation took place in March 1971, and for the sake of simplicity they called themselves the Martians. (Marsfolket in Swedish) With the help of manager Thomas Johansson a tour of Sweden was carried out in March and April 1971, and this is the conclusion of that tour which is now available on LP. The entire 54-year wait is over and the time has finally come for the whole the world to experience what the Martians created during one month in the spring of 1971. 5 of the 6 members have worked/toured with a band called ABBA....
