Facts Holly Hofmann began including a few selections on alto flute to her live sets. Her delivery resonated strongly with her audiences who asked her when she would be making an alto flute album. She decided to record Low Life by exclusively playing the alto flute with an all-star rhythm section: pianist Mike Wofford, guitarist Anthony Wilson, bassist John Clayton, and drummer Jeff Hamilton.
