Annarella And Django - Jouer

Facts The global, dreamy afro pop crossover duo (Annarella from Sweden and Django from Mali) is finally releasing their debut album. With a special mix where the Swedish flute meets the West African Ngoni string instrument. A bit like Amadou and Mariam but at the same time this is a highly unique mix of two cultures coming together as one. The duo met when they both were out touring with the Senegalese/Swedish sensation act Wau Wau Collectif. Django Diabaté is cousin to the recently passed Kora Master Toumani Diabaté. On this album the duo also invited the Swedish allround musician Ale Möller (Annarella's flute teacher) for providing some of his magic. Turn the volume up!
